How do you encourage visitors to talk about exhibits? Research indicates that visitor communication about the exhibit topic is one of the best indicators of exhibit learning, especially when visitors build their own personal connections.. Storytelling Kiosk is designed to do this by enabling visitors to record their stories on exhibit topics, building personal connections to the exhibit in the process. As visitors respond to questions, museum staff gain feedback about the exhibit and the visitor's experience. Museum staff can add their stories as well, providing an opportunity for them to communicate directly with visitors about exhibit goals and inspirations. The program is a product of 12 years experience developing state-of-the-art exhibit interactives and is built on a commitment to visitor learning. Storytelling Kiosk encourages family learning by encouraging exhibit-based conversations between visitors. Installations include science museums, historical centers, art musesums, and children's museums across the U.S. |
